Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived on a working visit to the Russian Federation on October 7, today participates in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow. Being an associate member of the CIS in accordance with its legal status of neutrality, Turkmenistan takes an active role in developing effective cooperation in the Commonwealth space, taking into account its huge potential in various fields. Traditional friendship and good neighborliness and close historical and cultural relations connect the country with the countries of the CIS. This serves as a reliable basis for developing mutually beneficial cooperation, enriching it with new meaning. The participants of the summit will discuss the current situation of the regional and international agenda during the meetings with the participation of the members of their delegations. It is planned to hold a signing ceremony of documents on the results of the CIS Summit.
