Today, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Jomart Tokaev, paid an official visit to Turkmenistan. At Ashgabat International Airport, the honorable guest was cordially welcomed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Here the National Flags of the two countries were hoisted and a Guard of Honor was arranged. In front of the plane, children in national costumes offer bread and sweets to the leader of a friendly country and hand over bouquets of flowers. Later, a bilateral meeting was held here. As mentioned, it was expressed confidence that the results of the current visit of the Kazakh leader to Turkmenistan and the high-level talks held in Ashgabat will be an important event, and taking into account the long-term future will give new impetus to multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
