100 teachers from Turkmenistan participated in the SCAFFOLD teaching methods consultation

In the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, a seminar on teaching methods called SCAFFOLD was held with the participation of 100 teachers from the country's higher, secondary and primary vocational education and secondary schools. The event, which took place on November 23, was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan within the sub-regional project "Dialogue and Action for Talented Youth in Central Asia" (DARYA) of the European Education Fund (ETF). This was reported by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. The training session was held within the framework of the visit of the Central Asia Coordinator of the European Education Foundation (EFO) Kihemshmeyer and international expert R. Turaeva-Hyone, a member of the SCAFFOLD methodological team of the DARYA project, to Turkmenistan from November 18 to 24 of this year. The event was also attended by experts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and the delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan. As noted in the report, the SCAFFOLD methodology involves working with 102 special cards and allows teachers to conduct educational activities from planning to assessment. This methodology allows teachers to enrich their skills with the necessary training and development methods, and also emphasizes the importance of critical skills. The methodology includes working with green, digital, lifestyle and entrepreneurship skills. SCAFFOLD allows you to integrate the content of the lessons with the knowledge needed in each skill, with the help of advice that helps to organize the learning process and assess the achievements of the students.
