The Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, J. Gurbangeldiev, participated in the first meeting of the ministers of education in the “Central Asia-China” format, which was held in the city of Urumqi. As noted in the report, the meeting held on May 12 discussed priority areas of multilateral cooperation in the education sector between the countries of the Central Asian region and China. During the talks, the parties exchanged views on issues such as strengthening relations institutionally, establishing programs for improving the professional skills of teachers, conducting joint scientific research and coordinating efforts to train specialists.
