The opening of new educational institutions in honor of the widely celebrated Education and Student Youth Day in Turkmenistan has become a noble tradition. Today, the new academic year 2024-2025 started with the ceremonial opening of important architectural structures in the country and friendly countries. The 540-seat secondary school named after Magtymguly, built in the Ergesh Sultanov farmer's association, Dusti etrap, Khatlon province of the Republic of Tajikistan, took a special place among the facilities to be used. The Presidents of the two countries, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Emomali Rahmon, participated in its opening ceremony via digital channels. The construction of a complex of buildings of a new educational institution in a friendly neighboring country was carried out by the builders of the country in accordance with the Decision signed by the President of Turkmenistan in December 2022. As it is known, this decision was adopted on the basis of the agreement reached between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. It is a witness of their interest in promoting friendship and mutual understanding between them. As we know, the foundation ceremony of the general secondary school named after the famous thinker and poet of the Turkmen people and the East was held on May 10, 2023, during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. At that time, the Heads of State of the two countries gave their blessing to the construction of this vital institution through a digital system. The cultural-humanitarian system and the educational system, which is an important part of it, are one of the main directions of traditional Turkmen-Tajik cooperation built on the foundation of mutual respect and trust. Today's landmark event is a clear example of this.
