At a meeting held in Ashgabat between the representatives of the "Turkmenhovoyalary" agency and Qatar's executive ambassador to Turkmenistan, Al-Remaihi Ghanem Abdulla, it was announced that direct air flights between Turkmenistan and Qatar are expected to be opened soon. According to the news agency "Turkmenhovoyalary" on Monday, during the talks, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in air transportation between the two countries. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the possibility of establishing direct and transit flights, and it was proposed to organize advertisements containing information about prices and services for the national airline of Qatar "Qatar Airways" in Turkmenistan. As mentioned in the report, it was also noted that citizens of Turkmenistan traveling to Qatar can use the online service to facilitate obtaining a visa.
