Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan

On July 23, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa held a meeting with the ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan accredited in Tokyo at the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the agenda of the meeting included the organizational issues of the first summit of the "Central Asia + Japan" dialogue to be held in Astana in August 2024. Along with this, the parties discussed the urgent issues of cooperation between Central Asian countries and Japan in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian fields. The high-level summit will provide an important impetus for the further development of six-way cooperation, the report said.
