The "Balkan" shipbuilding and repair plant, which is considered the largest shipbuilding industry of Turkmenistan, is owned by South Korea's "Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd." continues to develop at a high level based on the contracts signed with the company. The plant is actively engaged in the construction of modern dry cargo vessels with a carrying capacity of 6100 tons. As you know, the construction of the ships is currently in full swing. The plant's specialists successfully implement all stages of production, from design to assembly of live parts, installation and testing of equipment. Particular attention is paid to the quality of the work carried out here and to compliance with international standards in shipbuilding. Nearly 100 highly qualified Turkmen engineers and workers work in the shipbuilding industry. As a result of joint efforts, the factory not only fulfills shipbuilding orders, but also actively participates in the training of personnel for the country's shipbuilding industry. The construction of new dry cargo ships is not just a regular project, it is an important step in the development of the national economy of Turkmenistan.
