In Kabul, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Khoja Ovezov and the CEO of "TAPI Pipeline Company Limited" Muhammedmyrat Amanov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Amir Khan Muttaki. During the meeting, the parties discussed the latest developments related to preparations for the continuation of the TOPH pipeline within Afghanistan. The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that the construction of the TOPH pipeline in Afghanistan is one of the priorities for his country, and said that the relevant Afghan authorities have completed their work on the project. As reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Muttaki expressed hope that training activities on TOPH in Afghanistan will start soon. The Turkmen side also confirmed that it is ready to build a pipeline starting from its border, and said that these works are expected to start soon.
