The Arkadag city of Turkmenistan won three awards at the "World Smart City Expo" International exhibition of "smart" cities held in Goyan, Republic of Korea. According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea, the city of Arkadag received the following awards: Excellence Award – award for outstanding achievements (Arkadag city of Turkmenistan was the only winner of this award). Foreign City Award - "Foreign City" award. Arkadag city of Turkmenistan also received the "WSCE 2024 Contribution" Award for its contribution to the development of the "WSCE 2024" International Smart Cities Exhibition. In his speech at the event, the head of the Turkmen delegation, the chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov expressed his gratitude for his appreciation of Turkmenistan's efforts in the field of urban construction.
