The height of the restored monument of Magtymguly Pyragy in Astana is about 8.5 meters. The sculptor created Magtymguly Pyragy's image when he was engaged in creativity. The adjacent areas of the monument have been landscaped and turned into a wilderness. As it is known, on May 17, the opening ceremony of the monument to the great son of the Turkmen people and the "Magtymguly Pyragy" cultural-park complex was held in Ashgabat with the participation of the Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This large-scale project was implemented on the initiative of Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The National Leader of the Turkmen people dedicated his wonderful poem "The Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy" to the great poet who laid the foundations of classical literature. It is noteworthy that the new park, located in a beautiful corner at the foot of Kopetdag, includes statues of famous artists from different countries, including Kazakhstan.
