On June 12, Turkmen diplomat M. Ishangulyev met with Nuh Yylmaz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. According to the information of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Turkey, at the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the strengthening of intergovernmental relations, as well as the prospects of expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields. Important issues of the international and regional agenda were also given special importance. The diplomats emphasized their commitment to further development of mutually beneficial and equal bilateral cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organizations. During the meeting, issues related to holding joint events on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the prominent Turkmen thinker Magtymguly Pyragy were discussed.
